Vaccination

Guidance from the CDC states that people with SARS COV-2 should not be vaccinated until 2 weeks have passed post-infection. However, there is no guidance on testing. We feel that since we are a Covid Lab, and can test, that the responsible path to take is to test prior to administration of the shot. This means that if you are a first-responder or in one of the earlier groups slated to receive it, we will either perform a rapid PCR or our standard PCR test, in which case you will need to wait for results before getting inoculated.

Please read the Moderna fact sheet here, and agree to allow the health department to contact you for 6 weeks. The information collected is vital to the public health profiles being collected.
